Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.- The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (9-15, 21-38) ended a five game home stand with a thrilling 8-7 victory over the Eau Claire Express (14-13, 30-30) on Wednesday afternoon at Witter Field. The Rafters rallied from a four run deficit in the 9th inning to take the first game of the home and home day night doubler header. Clark Eagan (Arkansas) paced the Rafters offense this afternoon going 3-5 and delivered the game tying 3-run double in the bottom of the 9th inning. Eagan was replaced by pinch runner Andre Moore (Norfolk St.), who later scored the game winning run on a passed ball. Keelin Rasch (Louisiana Monroe) swung a hot bat as well for the Rafters finishing 3-5 with three singles.
