Wausau Woodchucks News Release
Wausau, WIS - The Woodchucks came into Athletic Park looking for their fourth straight win. They were not able to get the bats going as the Fond Du Lac Dock Spiders pitching combination of John Mierzwa, Austin Wagner, Carter Brown and Nate Thomas shut out the Woodchucks bats in a 4-0 loss.
Chucks starting pitcher Alec Abdalah did a nice job bouncing back from a three run second inning pitching four scoreless innings.
Though the bats could not get going, the Chucks bullpen stayed hot as newcomers Zach De La Garza and Branson Hall did a nice job to keep the game close.
