For the second straight night Clinton would gain take a lead after their half of the first inning, leading 1-0 before Beloit had an at bat. The Snappers tied the game on David Winfree sacrifice fly. The LumberKings took a 3-1 lead in the third inning after scoring two runs. In the fourth Clinton increased their lead to 4-1 before Trevor Plouffe cut the lead to one run on a two run home run to straight away center. David Winfree blasted a solo home run over the scoreboard in left to tie the game 4-4. In the bottom of the eighth Johnny Woodard hit a game winning two run home run to lead the Snappers to a 6-4 win.
Upcoming Schedule: The Snappers and LumberKings will play game three in this four game set Sunday, July 32nd at 2:00 pm.
