Wood recalled by Phantoms

TRENTON, NJ (March 4, 2006) - The Trenton Titans announced on Saturday that defenseman Stephen Wood has been recalled by the Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Wood, 24, racked up eight points (1g, 7a) in six games after being assigned by the Phantoms on February 21. The Sudbury, Massachusetts-native leads all Titans defenseman with seven goals, 22 assists and 67 penalty minutes in 38 games.

Wood receives his third call up of the season to Philadelphia (AHL), where he has four points (1g, 3a) in 15 games.

The Titans return home to host the Greenville Grrrowl on Tuesday, March 7 at 7:00pm.
