The Chicago Wolves have reassigned center MATT ANDERSON to the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators and have released defenseman JARED NIGHTINGALE. In addition, the Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned right wing CHAD PAINCHAUD (PAYNE-show) from the Wolves to Gwinnett.

ANDERSON has notched two points (G, A) and eight penalty minutes in 14 contests with the Wolves this season. The 25-year-old rookie has also appeared in 35 games with Gwinnett this year, racking up 13 goals, 27 points and 28 penalty minutes.

PAINCHAUD posted his first career American Hockey League goal on March 30 against the Grand Rapid Griffins and has netted three points (G, 2A) in 22 games with Chicago this season. The 21-year-old rookie has registered seven goals and 11 points in eight ECHL outings with the Gladiators this year.

NIGHTINGALE appeared in five matchups with the Wolves after signing with the club on March 27, posting two penalty minutes.
