Wolves Sign Huxley

The Chicago Wolves have signed left wing ADAM HUXLEY to a Professional Tryout Contract (PTO).

HUXLEY registered a career-high 14 assists and 21 points in 60 ECHL outings with the Idaho Steelheads last season. He also ranked first on Idaho and fifth in the league with 210 penalty minutes.

The 26-year-old forward made his American Hockey League debut with the Springfield Falcons in 2008-09 and tallied 17 penalty minutes in five outings. Overall, he has racked up 1,330 penalty minutes, 30 goals and 75 points in 342 career ECHL outings with the Alaska Aces, Las Vegas Wranglers, Victoria Salmon Kings, Stockton Thunder and Idaho from 2003 to 2010.

Prior to turning pro, the Wainwright, Alberta, native spent three seasons with the Western Hockey League's Saskatoon Blades and Seattle Thunderbirds, where he recorded 29 points (9G, 20A) and 621 penalty minutes in 197 games from 2001 to 2004.

HUXLEY will join the Wolves when they open their 17th season in Texas on Friday, when they visit the AT&T Center for a battle with the San Antonio Rampage at 7 p.m.
