B-Sens Assign Defenseman Brennan Turner to Elmira

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that defenseman Brennan Turner has been assigned to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Turner, 23, spent the 2009-10 season with the Jackals where he appeared in 62 games, recorded 21 points (six goals, 15 assists) and amassed 144 penalty minutes. He led the team in plus-minus with a plus-33, setting a new Jackals franchise record for plus-minus.

Turner also appeared in five playoff games for the Jackals last season, recording five assists and 13 penalty minutes.

The Winnipeg, Man. native played in all three B-Sens pre-season games versus the Hamilton Bulldogs, recording one assist.

The B-Sens open the regular season at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena on Friday, Oct. 8 at 7:05 p.m. against the Adirondack Phantoms.
