The Wolf Pack won three out of four games in a busy week this past week, and climbed to within six points of first place in the Atlantic Division. The Pack swept a home-and-home series with Springfield, winning 4-3 on Wednesday at the XL Center and thumping the Falcons by a 6-1 score Friday in Springfield. Saturday night at home the Wolf Pack were 6-3 winners over the Portland Pirates, but a five-game Pack winning streak, and a run of 12 straight games with at least a standings point (9-0-2-1), came to an end Sunday, as the Pack lost a GEICO Connecticut Cup matchup in Bridgeport, 4-1. Alex Bourret (0-6-6) and P.A. Parenteau (2-4-6) paced the Wolf Pack attack, and Al Montoya won all three of the games he started during the week.

This week:

It's another four-game week for the Wolf Pack this week, including two home games. The Pack travel to Lowell to take on the Devils on Wednesday night (7:05 PM), and then are back at the XL Center Thursday evening, hosting the Providence Bruins (7:00). The Bridgeport Sound Tigers invade the XL Center for a GEICO Connecticut Cup encounter on Saturday night (7:00), before the Pack find themselves back in Lowell on Sunday (4:05).

Tonight, Monday, February 18th - The Hartford Wolf Pack Community Foundation's annual "Tip-a-Player" Dinner and Sports Carnival, at the XL Center, 5:00 - 9:00 PM

Fun for the whole family, this event benefits Gaylord Hospital and has raised $179,000 over the last four years. "Tip-a-Player" takes place on the floor of the XL Center and features dinner served by the Wolf Pack players, great food provided by area restaurants, raffles, zamboni pictures, tours of the Wolf Pack locker room, sports competitions, pictures and autographs with the players, a silent auction, and more. There are two dinner seatings, the first at 5:00 PM and the second at 7:00. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the door. Prices are $30 for adults and $15 for kids 16 or younger.

Tuesday, February 19th - "Wolf Pack Confidential", at the M&M Restaurant at the Hilton Hartford, on ESPN Radio 1410

This week's edition of the Wolf Pack's weekly Tuesday-night talk show features Wolf Pack rookie forwards Brodie Dupont and Jordan Owens as scheduled guests. Wolf Pack Confidential airs live from the M&M Restaurant at the Hilton Hartford, located at 315 Trumbull St. in downtown Hartford, from 7:00-8:00 PM. Fans are welcome to be on hand at M&M for an exclusive opportunity to ask questions and speak one-on-one with the guests. Wolf Pack Confidential can be heard live on the radio home of the Wolf Pack, ESPN Radio 1410.

Wednesday, February 20th at Lowell (Paul E. Tsongas Arena), 7:05 p.m.

- The Devils sit in last place in the Atlantic Division, with a record of 15-28-6-4 for 40 points, but have gone unbeaten in regulation in three straight games (2-0-1-0).

- The Wolf Pack are 3-1-0-0 in this year's season series with the Devils. Lowell, however, won the last matchup, 3-2, on January 5th in Hartford. The Pack scored a 3-2 victory November 17th in their only previous visit to Lowell.

- Lowell's top scorer is Petr Vrana, who has totaled 9-33-42 in 53 games.

Thursday, February 21st vs. Providence at the XL Center), 7:00 p.m.

- This game was originally scheduled for the following night, February 22nd, but was moved to accommodate a concert by the Spice Girls, who will appear at the XL Center on Friday night. Tickets already purchased bearing the game date February 22nd will be honored on this night, and fans holding tickets dated February 22nd who cannot attend on this night can exchange those tickets, at the point of purchase, for tickets to any future 2007-08 Wolf Pack home game.

- Despite the fact that the game is now being played on a Thursday night rather than a Friday night, this will still be a Guida's Family Value Night. Family Value Night packages are available that include tickets, hot dogs or pizza slices, sodas and a Wolf Pack souvenir. Packages start as low as $39 per family. - After going 0-2-1-1 in the first four games they played against the P-Bruins, the Wolf Pack have won the last two. That includes a 7-5 victory in the last meeting, February 8th at Providence, in which the Pack tied a franchise record with five power-play goals.

- The Bruins have lost four of their last six games, but still sport the AHL's best record, at 39-12-2-1 for 81 points, and lead the second-place Wolf Pack by six points in the Atlantic.

- Pascal Pelletier is the Bruins' leading scorer, with 27-27-54 in 48 GP. He has the third-most goals in the AHL and is tied for eighth in the league in points.

Saturday, February 23rd vs. Bridgeport at the XL Center, 7:00 p.m.

- The first 5,000 fans into the XL Center for this game will receive a free Wolf Pack Mr. Potato Head doll.

- There will be a pre-game exhibition game between the U.S. Standing/Amputee Hockey Team and a team of able-bodied skaters from the New York City Police Department. The exhibition contest faces off at 4:00, and a ticket to the Wolf Pack game is also good for admission to the exhibition game. Fans can go on-line to www.ticketmaster.com and enter the promo code CHERNIK, and purchase red-level tickets, normally $23, for $18 each. $4 of each ticket purchased through this promotional code will go back to the U.S. Amputee Hockey Team. - Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Sound Tigers in Bridgeport dropped the Wolf Pack's GEICO Connecticut Cup record to 1-3-0-2 in six games. They are 0-1-0-2 in three home games against their Nutmeg-State adversaries.

- Bridgeport has won four straight games and nine of their last 11, to climb into a tie for fourth place in the East Division, at 29-24-1-0 for 59 points.

- Steve Regier tallied two goals against the Wolf Pack in Sunday's win and has 3-3-6 in his last three games.
