Wolf Pack Getting Into Holiday Spirit
December 12, 2002 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Connecticut Whale News Release
Hartford, December 12, 2002 -- The Hartford Wolf Pack are in the midst of a big week, on and off the ice. The Pack will put their six-game home unbeaten streak on the line with games at the Hartford Civic Center vs. Binghamton on Friday and Providence on Saturday (both 7:05 faceoffs). In addition to the on-ice action, fans can take advantage of a Family Night, Teddy Bear Toss, Guaranteed Win Night, a special sale at the Pack Shop and a team autograph session.
The Wolf Pack began the week with the annual Wolf Pack Christmas Party at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. The entire Wolf Pack team was on hand at CCMC, playing games and sharing some holiday cheer with dozens of outpatients from the Hematology/Oncology ward and their families.
Another important Wolf Pack community effort takes place this Friday night, December 13, when the Wolf Pack's game against Binghamton will feature the Pack's first-ever Teddy Bear Toss. Fans are encouraged to bring new or quality used stuffed animals to the game and during the second intermission, throw them on to the ice. All stuffed animals collected will be donated to local charities. Friday's game is also a Family Night.
Packages of four tickets, four hot dogs or pizza slices, four sodas and a team souvenir can be purchased for as low as $56. To order, call the Wolf Pack Ticket Office at 860-548-2000.
The Wolf Pack's game Saturday night against arch-rival Providence is Guaranteed Win Night. The Wolf Pack guarantee fans that they will beat the Bruins, and if the Pack lose or tie, each fan (including the Wolf Pack's valued season seat-holders) receives one free ticket (at the same price level) to the Wolf Pack's home game December 18 vs. Utah (7:05 faceoff) for each ticket they hold to Guaranteed Win Night (subject to ticket availability). Guaranteed Win Night redemptions must be made at the Civic Center Box Office. Also on Saturday night, the Pack Shop in the Civic Center Mall will be holding a "white sale", featuring special discounts on Wolf Pack merchandise. In conjunction with that, the entire Wolf Pack team will be on hand after the game outside the Pack Shop for an autograph session.
Wolf Pack 2002-03 season-ticket, multi-game, coupon book and group-discount packages, as well as single-game tickets, are all currently on sale.
