Connecticut Whale News Release

HARTFORD, January 22, 2005 (4:00 p.m.): Madison Square Garden - Connecticut and the Hartford Wolf Pack are encouraging hockey fans to stay at home this evening, even though the Wolf Pack game versus the Lowell Lock Monsters will go ahead tonight at the Hartford Civic Center as scheduled, despite the weather conditions.

"The safety of our fans is first and foremost in our minds," said Marty Brooks, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Madison Square Garden - Connecticut.

"Since Lowell was able to make it to Hartford, we will play the game, but we encourage our fans to stay safe and warm, and allow city and state snow removal crews and emergency services personnel do their jobs," said Jim Schoenfeld, General Manager of the Wolf Pack.

Fans are encouraged to listen to the game on ESPN Radio 1410 with host Bob Crawford.

Ticket holders will be able to exchange their unused ticket for this game for any other regular season Wolf Pack home game, with the exception of February 12 and March 12. Season ticket and mini-plan ticket holders are asked to abide by the existing redemption policy, while anyone purchasing group tickets should contact the Wolf Pack Ticketing office at 548-2000. Individual game ticket purchasers may exchange their ticket for another of equal value, based on availability, at the Hartford Civic Center Box Office.
