
Penguins game to be played despite weather

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins News Release
Despite inclement weather conditions throughout the region, tonight's game between the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and Bridgeport Sound Tigers will be played as originally scheduled . The contest is set for a 7:05 p.m. face-off at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza.
The Penguins urge all fans to use their own discretion when deciding whether or not they want to venture out this evening. Those who choose not to attend the tonight's game can exchange their tickets for one of the three following home contests :
Wednesday, February 2 vs. Bridgeport (7:05 p.m) , Wednesday, March 30 vs. Hershey (7:05 p.m.) or Wednesday, April 6 vs. Binghamton (7:05 p.m.).
Fans can exchange their tickets at the point of purchase beginning Monday, January 24. The deadline to exchange the tickets is set for Tuesday, February 1.
Tonight's game will be televised live on Adelphia 63, and fans can also listen to the game on Oldies 92 and 100 FM.
