Bismarck, N.D. (Jan 21, 2011) - The Dakota Wizards announced today that they have traded forward Walter Sharpe (6-9 250, Alabama-Birmingham) to the New Mexico Thunderbirds in exchange for a third round draft pick in the 20011 NBA D-League Draft.
Sharpe was acquired by the Wizards on November 29th, 2010 in a trade with the Idaho Stampede. He appeared in 18 games (9 starts) with Dakota averaging 8.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
The roster currently stands at 10 players.
The Wizards play host to the defending NBA Development League Champions the Rio Grande Valley Vipers this Friday and Saturday night at the Bismarck Civic Center.
