SPRINGFIELD, MA, JAN. 22, 2011 - After blowing a 21-point lead in the fourth quarter, the Springfield Armor held on for a thrilling 125-114 triumph in overtime Friday night at the MassMutual Center in Springfield. Springfield improves to 9-15, while Bakersfield falls to 15-10.

Springfield's Jerry Smith was the hero in overtime as he drained back to back threes to start off the extra period, giving the Armor a 6-point lead they would not relinquish.

Then, with 1.6 seconds remaining in regulation, Kenny Taylor drained a three to tie the game and send it to overtime. In overtime, the Armor clamped down on defense and outscored the Jam 11-0 during the final three-minute period.

Kenny Taylor finished with 15 points, which all came in the fourth period as the Jam made their remarkable come-back.

Reynolds also put forth a stellar effort for the Armor, scoring 18 points and dishing out 13 assists while turning the ball over just twice from the point guard position.
