Bismarck, N.D. April 10, 2009: The Dakota Wizards enter their third straight hunt for a D-League championship officially tonight as they finished the regular season off with a win over the Anaheim Arsenal 115 - 100 in front of a great crowd of over 3,100 fans at the Bismarck Civic Center.

Wizards forward Richard Hendrix lead the way for Dakota with 25 points on the night and had eight rebounds in the victory as the Wizards finish the regular season at 27 - 23. Guard Blake Ahearn nailed 19 points; while guard Maurice Baker dished out a season high 15 assists to get his 10th double double of the season hitting 10 points.

"I'm really proud of this group of guys," said Wizards head coach Duane Ticknor. "We needed to finish off the season on the right note and we did. Our guys should be proud of their effort and hopefully this will run into the post season."

Anaheim, finish the season with a 15-34 record and were led in scoring by guard Cedric Bozeman's 25 points and 12 rebounds. Former Wizards forward Andre Patterson played well off the bench for the Arsenal nailing 17 points while guard Cameron Bennerman hit 17 points of his own.

With the Playoff picture still a bit cloudy the Wizards will find out their opponent on Sunday evening as the league will hold a conference call for all coaches.
