Wisconsin Herd Falters in Second Half against Fort Wayne Mad Ants

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd (17-21), the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, fell to the division-leading Fort Wayne Mad Ants (22-15) in a 128-110 decision at Menominee Nation Arena.

The Herd carried a 58-53 lead into the second half. The Mad Ants outscored the Herd 42-24 in the third quarter and entered the final frame with a 95-82 lead. Fort Wayne held the advantage and amassed its biggest lead (18 points) in the fourth quarter.

NBA veteran Brandon Jennings scored 31 points and dished out eight assists in his Herd debut. Bucks Two-Way player Marshall Plumlee posted 22 points and nine rebounds. Ricky Ledo registered 19 points and corralled eight rebounds in 37 minutes.

DeQuan Jones led all scorers on the night with a career-high 36 points, shooting 13-of-19 from the field for the Mad Ants. Jarrod Uthoff (21 points, 14 rebounds) and Stephan Hicks (21 points, 12 rebounds) posted double-doubles, combining for a total of 42 points and 26 rebounds. Indiana Pacers Two-Way player Ben Moore added 24 points for Fort Wayne.

Wisconsin travels to Long Island to battle the Nets on Friday, Feb. 23. Fort Wayne's road trip continues to Ohio for a Friday match-up against the Canton Charge.
