Raptors 905 News Release
Raptors 905 (24-15) returned to action Wednesday night, defeating the Erie BayHawks (20-18) 104-94 at Hershey Centre. Malcolm Miller scored a game-high 28 points to lead the 905, while Jordan Matthews scored 23 points for Erie in defeat.
Malachi Richardson paced the 905 offence early, scoring 10 points in the opening quarter to help the team jump out to a 25-19 lead. Matthews responded in the second frame for Erie, scoring eight points and pulling the BayHawks within three points by halftime.
Both offences would click to start the second half as the two teams combined for 64 points in the third quarter. Raptors 905 edged Erie 34-30, benefitting from a nine-point effort from Miller and seven points from reserve Shevon Thompson. Miller would continue to roll in the fourth quarter, recording 12 points and five rebounds to secure the 905 victory.
