
Winterhawks Trade Nick Perna to Medicine Hat

Portland Winterhawks News Release
The Portland Winterhawks announced today that they have traded 18-year-old defenseman Nick Perna to the Medicine Hat Tigers in exchange for a 4th round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.
The Dallas, Texas native has played in 50 career WHL games with the Winterhawks over the last two seasons, scoring one goal and adding 11 assists for 12 points. Before he laced up in the WHL, Perna played for the Dallas Stars Elite program.
The move gives the Winterhawks a top pick in the upcoming Bantam Draft and gets their roster back to 23 skaters.
