Saskatoon Blades News Release
Kennewick, WA - The Saskatoon Blades have emerged 2-1 victors following a hard-fought battle against the Tri-City Americans.
Nolan Maier led from the back, making 34 saves on 35 shots faced. Nolan Kneen scored the game winning goal, his sixth goal of the season and fourth game winning goal of the season, at 4:05 of the third period. Tristen Robins had opened the scoring just 30 seconds earlier.
Beck Warm, the Americans' netminder, stopped 43 of 45 shots the Blades sent his way.
The Blades now cross the border back to the homeland and begin making their way back to Saskatoon. They'll make two stops on their journey back: first against the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Friday night before facing off with the Medicine Hat Tigers on Saturday night.
