Kent, WA - Victoria Royals' forward Gary Haden scored a pair of goals in the second period to help lead his team to a 4-2 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds on Wednesday night at the accesso ShoWare Center.

Former Team: Royals' forward Graeme Bryks suited up against his former team tonight. Bryks spent parts of the last two seasons with the Thunderbirds. He recorded eight points (1g-7a) in 58 games with the club. The Edmonton, AB native, was traded to the Royals during the pre-season in exchange for a conditional seventh round pick in the 2022 WHL Bantam Draft.

Island Connection: Seattle's Payton Mount is a product of Victoria, BC. The 2002-born forward played his minor hockey with the Juan de Fuca Minor Hockey Association.
