Winterhawks Recall Forward Carsyn Dyck to Active Roster

Portland, Ore. - The Portland Winterhawks Hockey Club has today recalled forward Carsyn Dyck from the U18 Warman Wildcats of the Saskatchewan Male AAA Hockey League (SMAAAHL) to the active roster as an affiliate player.

Dyck, 16, ranked second in team scoring with 12 goals and 23 assists in 42 games with the Wildcats this season, and added two goals and two assists during their playoff run. The Warman, Sask. native also appeared in one game with the Estevan Bruins of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) this season.

Originally selected by the Winterhawks in the sixth round, #125 overall, of the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft, Dyck signed with Portland on June 2, 2022 and posted one assist in four preseason games prior to the start of the 2022-23 campaign.
