
Broncos Sign Jaxen Gauchier to Scholarship and Development Agreement

Swift Current, Sask. - The Swift Current Broncos announced today they have signed 2007-born forward Jaxen Gauchier to a Scholarship and Development Agreement. He was drafted 140th overall in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft.
Gauchier, from Peavine, Alta., spent the majority of the 2022-23 season with the Northern Alberta Xtreme U17 program racking up 58 points (24-34-58) in 30 games. He finished tied for second in the U17 division in scoring, behind fellow Broncos prospect Levi Benson.
At the CSSHL Championships in Penticton, Gauchier added seven points (4-3-7) in five games to help the NAX U17 team win the U17 Division title. He assisted on the overtime-winning goal against Delta Hockey Academy.
Gauchier is the sixth member of the Broncos 2022 Draft class to sign with the team, joining Peyton Kettles, Jace McFaul, Parker Rondeau, Ty Coupland and Berney Weston.
