Red Wings Manager Matt LeCroy earned his 700th win in his managerial career on Friday night as Rochester defeated Scranton, 7-6, for the second time in two games. The Wings held off a late game flurry to even the series at two games apiece.

A double from 3B Adrian Sanchez gave the Wings an early 1-0 lead before the Railriders tied it up in the bottom of the first. Sanchez registered three hits and three RBI on the day, including a fourth inning single that brought SS Lucius Fox home. That RBI was part of a four run fourth inning for the Wings, as a single from 2B Ildemaro Vargas and a double from CF Andrew Stevenson put Rochester up 5-2.

RHP Jefry Rodriguez logged his ninth start of the season, striking out three and giving up five hits and pair of runs through 2 2/3 innings. LHP Jace Fry, RHP Curtis Taylor, who was called up from Double-A Harrisburg on June 16, LHP Matt Cronin, LHP Sam Clay, and RHP Tyler Clippard held Scranton scoreless through six until RHP Jordan Weems gave up two dangerous runs in the bottom of the ninth.

RF Cole Freeman registered another steal in Friday's contest, his third in the last two games. He also logged a run thanks to a Sanchez single.

Stevenson secured the win with a ninth inning homer that gave the Wings a 7-4 lead. Rochester has logged 17 homers in the last 11 games, good for the most through any 11-game span this season.

For the second game in a row, Rochester has earned a victory while being outhit by their opponent. The Wings' registered seven hits while Scranton logged 13.
