Windy City Tops Birmingham 117-104

Birmingham Squadron News Release


BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, fell, 117-104, to the Windy City Bulls, NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, in the second game of back-to-back matchups between the two teams despite 21 points from guard Jalen Crutcher.

Crutcher led Birmingham (7-7) in scoring, with fellow sharpshooter Devin Cannady scored 19 on 8-of-14 shooting from the field.

Quenton Jackson dropped 40 for Windy City (4-9) in 16-of-24 shooting but was only 1-of-6 from deep. Center Lacey James registered Tuesday night's only double-double with 10 points and 11 boards.

With the loss, the Squadron split the season series with the Bulls.

Birmingham now hits the road east for a quick one-game road trip to College Park to take on the Skyhawks Thursday at 6 p.m. CT. Fans can see the game locally on My68 or nationally on ESPN+.
