
Iowa Wolves' Lance Stephenson Suspended

NEW YORK - Iowa Wolves guard Lance Stephenson has been suspended one game without pay for throwing an elbow and making contact with the head of South Bay Lakers guard Shaquille Harrison, it was announced today by NBA G League President Shareef Abdur-Rahim.
The incident, for which Stephenson was assessed a Flagrant Foul 2 and ejected, occurred with 9:50 remaining in the third quarter of the Wolves' 124-113 win over South Bay on Jan. 29 at UCLA Health Training Center in El Segundo, Calif.
Stephenson will serve his suspension January 31 when the Wolves visit NBA G League Ignite at The Dollar Loan Center at 10 p.m. ET.
