Windy City Soars Past Skyforce, Extends Winning Streak to 4

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, ran away from the Sioux Falls Skyforce 115-93 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota Friday night. Seven Windy City players scored in double figures, led by guard Ethan Thompson's 17 points.

The Bulls submitted an impressive first-half performance, highlighted by Thompson and center Daniel Oturu combining for 17 points in the first half on 8-for-9 shooting. Windy City led 49-42 going into the second half.

Sioux Falls started the third quarter strong, erasing Windy City's lead to take a two-point advantage with 8:48 remaining in the third period. The Bulls weathered the storm, holding an 11-point edge heading into the final 12 minutes.

Windy City's lead ballooned to as much as 27 points down the stretch before coasting to a 22-point victory.

Forward Henri Drell chipped in 16 points on 6-for-8 shooting, while Oturu finished with 14 points on 7-for-7 shooting. Chicago Bulls Assignment forward Dalen Terry and guard Carlik Jones each had exactly 14 points, four rebounds and six assists. Guard Javon Freeman-Liberty went 5-for-6 from the field, scoring 12 points. Chicago Bulls Two-way guard Malcolm Hill had 11 points.

The Bulls outscored the Skyforce 64-42 in the paint, earning 17 second-chance points off of 11 offensive rebounds.

Sioux Falls was led by forward DJ Stewart with 25 points and guard Jamaree Bouyea with 18 points.

With the win, the Bulls improved to 5-1 on the season, while the Skyforce dropped to 2-3. Windy City remains a perfect 3-0 on the road this season and is currently riding a four-game winning streak.

The Bulls and Skyforce are slated to play again on Saturday, Nov. 19. Tomorrow's rematch is scheduled to tip-off at 7 p.m. on NBAGLeague.com.
