(GREENSBORO, N.C.) - The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, today announced the local broadcast schedule for the team's 2022-2023 season. Greensboro will broadcast four home games on channel 15 or HR antenna 48-1, starting with the November 19 game against the Long Island Nets (Brooklyn Nets affiliate) set to tip-off at 7 p.m. ET at the Novant Health Fieldhouse.
"We are excited to be working with WMYV My48 again this season in bringing Greensboro Swarm basketball into the homes of fans in the Triad," Swarm President Steve Swetoha said. "This is our third season working with WMYV My48 as we continue to promote and grow our brand to our fans in our community."
In addition to Saturday's game, there are three other home games to be televised on My48. These games include two contests versus the Windy City Bulls (Chicago Bulls affiliate) on January 21 at 7 p.m. ET and February 5 at 4 p.m. ET. The final My48 broadcast is Swarm versus the Maine Celtics (Boston Celtics affiliate) at 7 p.m. ET.
"ABC45 & My48 are so excited to be able to partner with the Greensboro Swarm for our third consecutive broadcast season together. Having an NBA G League team in our market presents us with the unique opportunity to showcase NBA level talent on a local platform. The relationship also helps us to continue to brand our My48 station as "your home for local sports." We are thrilled to make these games accessible to our viewers and help grow the Swarm and Hornets fan base," said My48 General Manager Allison Aldridge.
