Ibou Badji Earns Two-Way Contract with Portland Trail Blazers

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Portland Trail Blazers have signed Wisconsin Herd Center Ibou Badji to a Two-Way Contract. This is the first NBA Call-up for the Herd and the fourth for the NBA G League this season.

Badji, a 7-1, 240-pound center, joined the Herd as an affiliate player from the Milwaukee Bucks. Badji has played in seven games for the Wisconsin Herd this season averaging 7.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists while shooting 61.8% from the field and 66.7% from the free throw line. The 20-year-old from Senegal is currently ranked fifth in the NBA G League for blocks per game with 2.4, including one game with six blocks.

The Herd will play next at the Iowa Wolves on Saturday, November 19 with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. CST.
