Wiles Takes First AHL Trip

Las Vegas - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that right wing Sean Wiles has been loaned to the American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The call-up is the first of his professional career.

Wiles, 25, has posted a team-leading 25 goals in 59 games with the Wranglers this season. The 6-foot-3, 203-pound forward has tallied 36 goals and 57 points in 99 games since joining Las Vegas in 2011-12. Now in his second pro season, Wiles spent four years (2007-11) at University of Alaska, Anchorage, where he amassed 22 goals and 48 points in 111 games.

The Wranglers play a road game against the Bakersfield Condors tonight before wrapping up the regular season at home. The team plays two games against the Utah Grizzlies starting Saturday, March 23, at 7:05 p.m. as the third annual "Regrettable Tattoo Night" returns, awarding tattoo and tattoo removal prizes to fans with questionable ink.

Celebrating 10 seasons of Wranglers hockey this year, group events are available at all home games, including pre-game ice skating parties, private luxury suites, and rink-side catered party boxes.
