Tonight's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls (24-35-1-6) begin a two-game set against the Stockton Thunder (34-26-5-4), tonight, at the Cow Palace. This is the 12th of 13th meetings between these two clubs this season, with the Bulls leading the season series 6-4-0-1. The last time these teams faced off, San Francisco dismantled Stockton, 7-2. All but four Bulls players had points in the effort, highlighted by three point nights from Peter Sivak (2g, 1a) and Tommy Grant (1g, 2a).

The last place Bakersfield Condors lost on Tuesday night, and as a result the Bulls have officially clinched a Kelly Cup playoff spot. San Francisco is one of four expansion teams in the league this season, and will likely be the only one to make the postseason. The playoffs begin in the first week of April, and each round is a best of seven, 2-3-2, format.

This week the Bulls announced several roster changes. Sivak and Dean Ouellet have both received their first AHL call-ups. Sivak will be joining the Worcester Sharks, and is expected to make his debut tonight. Ouellet has joined the Hamilton Bulldogs. In addition, Grant will be unavailable after being suspended two games for his major penalty in the third period of Sunday's game.

San Francisco has also received a few reinforcements. It was announced on Tuesday that they have signed defenseman Will Lacasse. He was picked up off of waivers from the Idaho Steelheads. In 21 games in the ECHL this season he has two goals and three assists, and is a +5. On Wednesday the Bulls signed forwards Brett Findlay and Nick Czinder to standard contracts, and Edward Gale to an amateur tryout contract. Findlay, in 68 games in the OHL this season, has 19 goals and 27 assists. Czinder, also from the OHL, has 13 goals and 19 assists in 57 games. Gale had two goals and three assists in seven games for the University of Guelph this season.

On Thursday it was announced that the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL had loaned defenseman Antoine Corbin and forward Daultan Leveille to the Bulls. Corbin, in his first year of professional hockey, has one goal and two assists in 30 games in the AHL this season. Leveille, a former first round NHL draft pick, has four goals and five assists in 44 combined games between the AHL and ECHL this year.

Christian Ouellet has been on fire recently. He is riding a four game point streak, with eight points in that span (4g, 4a). On the season he is up to 17 goals and 19 assists. Kory Falite has also been performing well since his acquisition, and is riding a three-game point streak of his own (1g, 4a).

The Stockton Thunder are in fourth place in the Western Conference with 77 points. They are 14 points behind the Idaho Steelheads and five points up on the Colorado Eagles. San Francisco is in eighth place in the Western Conference with 55 points. They are nine points back of the Utah Grizzlies.

Tonight the Bulls are hosting Breast Cancer Awareness Night. The first 2,000 women, 18 and older, will receive a Pink Bulls hat, courtesy of Seton Medical Center. A portion of the proceeds from group tickets will go towards the Seton Medical Center Foundations. Call 855-SF-BULLS for tickets.
