Wild Things Begin Six-Game Homestand on Thursday, June 17

Washington, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Financial, return home to CONSOL Energy Park Thursday, June 17 for a six-game homestand. The Wild Things will play a three-game series with the Kalamazoo Kings followed by a series with the Traverse City Beach Bums.

The homestand will feature great promotions all week long starting on Thursday, June 17, when fans can enjoy $1.00 beers and soft drinks on Dollar Thirst-day. The Wild Things will also celebrate St. Patrick's Day in June on Thursday night. Players will wear special themed jerseys that fans can purchase through a silent auction during the game. In addition, tickets to the June 17 game include admission to the CONSOL Energy Health and Safety Fair from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Fans can also register for the Xtreme Car & Truck Accessories Hit for the Cycle for a chance to win an ATV.

On Friday, fans can watch a post-game fireworks celebration by Zambelli Fireworks. For Saturday's series finale with Kalamazoo, the first 1,000 fans to arrive at the ballpark will receive a Wild Things baseball cap sponsored by CoGo's. All three games start at 7:05 p.m.

The Wild Things begin a three-game series with the Traverse City Beach Bums with a Father's Day match up on Sunday, June 20 at 6:35 p.m. Kids 12 and under can run the bases after the game and members of the W'ittle Wild Things presented by Agora Cyber Charter School can participate in special activities. Dads and their children can play catch in the outfield following the game. In addition, fans can call the box office to learn how fathers can participate in the Father's Day Fantasy Camp on Sunday morning.

On Monday, June 21, the first 1,000 fans will receive a Wild Things t-shirt sponsored by Mylan Labs. Monday's game is also Ladies Night at CONSOL Energy Park. Women can enjoy martinis and take advantage of a free massage from The Physical Therapy Institute during the game.

Kids take center stage at Tuesday's Kids Day with a special noon start time. Kids' camps and daycares interested in attending the game can contact the box office for information on discounted group rates.
