Wild Signs Goalie Cody Reichard

Des Moines, IA - Iowa Wild General Manager Jim Mill announced on Saturday the American Hockey League Club has signed goalie Cody Reichard to a professional tryout agreement (PTO).
Reichard joins the Wild from the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL, where he made nine appearances. The second-year goaltender was 2-4-3 with a 3.47 GAA and a .898 SV%. He played in seven AHL games with Houston in 2012-13, going 3-1-1 with a 2.41 GAA and a .910 SV%. The Celina, OH native started his pro career last season with the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL. In 27 games with the Thunder, the 26-year old was 13-8-5 with a 2.64 GAA and a .911 SV%. He played four years at Miami University (OH), going 53-24-9 with a 2.10 GAA and a .912 SV%.
Iowa continues a six-game homestand with San Antonio on Saturday, Dec. 21, and Rockford on Thursday, Dec. 26. Saturday's game is Salvation Army Night, where fans may drop donations with Kettle Bearers. The game also features kids who participated in the team's *Wild About Reading* program. During next Thursday's game, fans are encouraged to sport an Ugly Holiday Sweater.
