Wild Adds Goalie Parker Milner

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Wild General Manager Jim Mill announced on Monday the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed goalie Parker Milner to a professional tryout agreement (PTO).

Milner joins the Iowa Wild from the ECHL's Quad City Mallards, where he played in 15 games, posting an 8-5-2 record with a 2.31 GAA and a .922 SV%. The second-year pro spent the majority of his rookie season with the ECHL's Stockton Thunder. He was 9-14-2 with a 2.84 GAA and a .907 SV%. He also made his American Hockey League debut with Bridgeport in 2013-14. In eight games with the Tigers, he was 4-2-0 with a 2.95 GAA and a .904 SV %. Parker played four years at Boston College from 2009-13. In 92 appearances for the Eagles, the Pittsburgh, PA native went 53-24-9 with a 2.10 GAA and a .912 SV %.

Iowa returns home on Monday, Dec. 29th at 7 p.m. to host Milwaukee. The team is partnering with LifeServe Blood Center for a blood drive, which runs from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Dec. 29. For donating, all fans will be rewarded with one ticket to a future Iowa Wild hockey game and an Iowa Wild hat. The first 50 fans that make a donation will be given an Iowa Wild hat, autographed by one of the players. For the game, fans may purchase the Subway Combo Pack, which starts at $12 per person and includes a ticket, hot dog, soda and a subway coupon.

The Iowa Wild 2014-15 season is presented by Mercy Medical Center, it runs from October through April. Fans may purchase seats to see any of the team's 38 regular season home games at Wells Fargo Arena. Season tickets to see the Wild play at Wells Fargo Arena start at just $9 per game.
