
Whitecaps FC Reveal Protected List for Tuesday's Expansion Draft

VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC revealed on Monday the 11 protected players, seven automatically protected Homegrown players, and 13 players from the 2016 roster who are available for selection in the MLS Expansion Draft. The draft will be streamed live on MLSsoccer.com on Tuesday, December 13 at 11 a.m. PT.
Atlanta United FC and Minnesota United FC will each select five players from the other 20 MLS clubs, a total of 259 available players, with Atlanta holding the first pick. Once one player has been selected from a club's unprotected roster, that team may not lose any further players.
