LA Galaxy Announce Roster Moves

LA Galaxy News Release
LOS ANGELES- The LA Galaxy announced today the club's roster options following the conclusion of the 2016 Major League Soccer season. The LA Galaxy have exercised contract options on 11 players: defender Ashley Cole, midfielder Rafael Garcia, midfielder Baggio Husidic, defender Daniel Steres, goalkeeper Clement Diop, forward Bradford Jamieson IV, defender Dave Romney, forward Ariel Lassiter, forward Jose Villarreal, midfielder Raul Mendiola and forward Jack McBean.
The Galaxy have not exercised the contract option of Brazilian defender Leonardo. The following players are currently out of contract: midfielder Steven Gerrard, forward Robbie Keane, forward Landon Donovan, forward Alan Gordon, midfielder Jeff Larentowicz, forward Mike Magee and defender Oscar Sorto.

Wednesday, Dec. 14 List of players eligible for selection in the Waiver Draft made public
Thursday, Dec. 15 Waiver Draft held at 11 a.m. PT
Beginning at 2 p.m. PT, clubs may no longer sign or trade their own Re-Entry eligible players (player-trade blackout window)
List of players available in Stage One of the Re-Entry Draft made public
Friday, Dec. 16 Stage One of the Re-Entry Draft held at 12 p.m. PT
Wednesday, Dec. 21 Starting at 8 a.m. PT, clubs may no longer sign or trade their own Re-Entry eligible players (player-trade blackout window)
