NEWS & NOTES:
Franchise Milestone: Last night's win over the Hurricanes was the 1850th win in Wheat Kings franchise history. Ironically enough, the teams 1800th win also came on Remembrance Day, back in 2019 in a win over the Winnipeg ICE.
Seeing Double: Landon Roberts' two-goal night on Thursday was the first of his career. In 65 career WHL games prior to Thursday, Roberts had never recorded more than a single point in a game.
Lethbridge Leader: Rylen Roersma's first period shorthanded marker was his team leading 8th goal of the season. Still classified as a WHL Rookie, Roersma's 14 points is tied with Nolan Ritchie for tops on the Wheat Kings stats list, and fourth in the WHL.
Back in Action: After a lengthy stretch of time, Ridly Greig, Vincent Iorio and Nate Danielson all drew back into the lineup last night. The game was the first time all season (Not including an AP callup) that the BWK coaching staff had 12 healthy forwards to start a game.
