
What a Comeback as Hounds Win over Kings

Friday night was an up and down game for the Youngstown SteelHounds as down three nothing they come back to defeat the Memphis RiverKings 4-3 at the DeSoto Civic Center.
A scoreless first period led to fireworks for the RiverKings in the second as Ryan Campbell, Ryan Held and Jason Sessa all score within six minutes to make it 3-0 Memphis. Former Memphis RiverKing, Stephen Margeson scored on the power play for Youngstown to cut the deficit to a 3-1 score after two periods.
It was the third period that saw the Hounds fire back as Shaun Landolt made it 3-2 in the third minute on a wrap around. Dallas Anderson tied the game off a pass from Tab Lardner with 13 minutes to play and then the captain Jeff Christian chimed in with 11 minutes to go to complete the come back for the Hounds as they went up 4-3.
Brad Roberts shutout the Kings in the third period en route to making 29 saves on 32 shots to preserve the win for the Hounds. Youngstown improves to 33-19-10 (76pts) and keeps at least a tie for the fourth seed in the Northern Conference. The Hounds continue their road trip on Saturday night as they are at the Tulsa Oilers for an 8:35pm start.
