Bees playoff tickets on sale Monday

Hidalgo, Texas --- The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees announced today that playoff tickets for the first round of the 2007 Central Hockey League Playoffs go on sale this Monday at 10 a.m.

The Bees clinched the sixth and final seed in the Southern Conference Thursday night when the Odessa Jackalopes dropped a 4-2 decision to the Amarillo Gorillas.

Tickets are available at the Dodge Arena Box Office and online at ticketmaster.com. Individual tickets start at just $12. Dodge Arena is now a Ticketmaster facility and has local outlets at Macy's (La Plaza Mall), Sun Coast (La Plaza Mall) and FYE (Brownsville). To purchase tickets by phone, dial 956-668-7740.

This will be the third time in CHL history the clubs have met in the post-season, with Laredo winning both previous rounds, including a 4 games to 2 opening round series win last year en route to their second Ray Miron President's Cup title in three seasons.
