Whale Assign Tyler Donati to Elmira

HARTFORD, November 30, 2010: Connecticut Whale general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the team has loaned forward Tyler Donati to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Donati, who signed an AHL contract with the Whale October 21, went scoreless with eight shots on goal in eight games with the Whale. Last season with the Jackals, he was the ECHL's leading scorer and MVP, with 38 goals and 76 assists for 114 points in 67 games.

The Whale return to action tomorrow night, Wednesday, December 1, as they travel to Worcester to take on the Sharks at 7:00 PM (WTIC HD-2, www.ctwhale.com, www.wtic.com ). The team's next home game at the XL Center is this Saturday night, December 4, also against Worcester and also at 7:00.
