Milwaukee Admirals News Release

Milwaukee, WI-The Milwaukee Admirals return to home ice for the first time in over three weeks for games this Wednesday at 7:00 pm against the Manitoba Moose and Friday night at 7:00 pm versus the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Given the long layoff between home games, the Admirals have dubbed Wednesday's game the "Re-Opener." All fans in attendance will receive an Admirals magnet schedule sponsored by Old Orchard Juice (while supplies last), and the first 2,000 fans will receive an Admirals jar opener courtesy of Time Warner Cable.

Wednesday's game is also the return to of former head coach Claude Noel. Noel led the Admirals to two trips to the Calder Cup Finals and the championship in 2004, the only coach to guide the Ads to a league title. In his four seasons he accumulated an impressive 183-94-22-21 record, good for a .639 winning percentage, making him the second winningest coach in team history. Noel is also the person who hired Lane Lambert as his assistant for the 2006-07 season before Noel left to go to the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL and Lambert replaced him as the Admirals head coach.

Disco icons the Village People will perform in a post-game concert following Friday's game against the Griffins. The concert is free with a game ticket and will commence approximately 30 minutes following the game. In addition, there are still a limited number of on-ice passes available for sale for just $20. The on-ice passes allow fans exclusive access to watch the concert from ice level directly in front of the stage, however, they are not valid for admission to the game.
