Western Hockey League Announces Regular Season Schedule Changes

Portland, Ore. - The Western Hockey League announced changes to the 2021-22 regular season schedule today, including two involving the Winterhawks.

The team's changes are as follows:

The game scheduled for Wednesday, October 27 against Victoria will now be played against Seattle. Puck drop remains at 7 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

The team's game originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 30 against Everett will now be played on Tuesday, November 16. Puck drop for the contest also remains 7 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Additionally, the start time for the team's annual New Year's Eve game (December 31) has been revealed. The action will get underway at 5 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Coliseum against Seattle.

To recap:

Opponent Change: Wednesday, October 27 now to be played against Seattle (previously Victoria).

Date Change: Wednesday, March 30 vs. Everett has been moved to Tuesday, November 16.

Time Update: Friday, December 31 vs. Seattle will begin at 5 p.m.
