Regina, Sask. - Team White defeated Team Blue 6-0 on Tuesday night in the annual Blue and White game, presented by Bennett Dunlop Ford.

A first period goal from Layton Feist gave team White a 1-0 lead through 20 minutes, but it was their three-goal second period that really made the difference. Feist made it 2-0 off a point shot for his second of the game, which was quickly followed by goals from Cole Carrier and Carter Chorney.

In the third, Chorney would score again to make it 5-0 and Jacob Dewitt added a late goal to make it a 6-0 final.

Kelton Pyne and Spencer Welke combined for the shutout for team White, with Welke playing particularly strong, as Blue fired 16 shots on him in the third period alone.

While 17-year-old Layton Feist did find the back of the net twice, it was experience that led the way for team White, with four 2001-born players in Chorney, Evans, Nijhoff and Smith combining for eight points. Nineteen-year-old Cole Carrier also had three points.
