Broncos to Open Decor Complete Training Camp September 10

Swift Current, Sask. - The Swift Current Broncos announced their Decor Complete training camp schedule today. The camp runs from September 10 through September 15 at the Innovation Credit Union iPlex, culminating with the annual Blue vs. White intersquad game at 4:00 p.m. on September 15.

This year's camp is comprised of three teams which features 16 returning players from the 2020-21 hub season as well as all 11 prospects from the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft. The complete training camp roster will be released at a later date.

All ice times are open to the public and admission to the Blue vs. White game is free. Please note that ice times are subject to change.

The Broncos host the Moose Jaw Warriors for the first of four-pre-season games on Friday, September 17, with admission to the game being a donation to the local food bank or $5.

Following registration, headshots and fitness testing on September 10, the on-ice schedule for training camp begins September 11 and can be found below.

The Swift Current Broncos are monitoring the Covid-19 situation and the recommendations by the Saskatchewan Health Authority and the Provincial Government. In order to provide a safe environment for our fans, staff, and players, the Swift Current Broncos would sincerely appreciate the support of the fans to take all necessary precautions when attending training camp and pre-season activities, including:

Get Vaccinated- The Broncos strongly encourage all community residents and Broncos fans to get vaccinated to help prevent the spread and impact of Covid-19. The Broncos are partnering with the Saskatchewan Health Authority to host Vaccination clinics during our training camp and pre-season activities for anyone eligible to get a shot. At this time vaccination clinics are being planned for the following events, and more details will be provided at a later date:

September 15, 2021 - Blue vs. White Intrasquad game

September 17, 2021 - Preseason Home Game #1

September 24, 2021 - Preseason Home Game #2

Wear a mask- The Broncos strongly encourage the use of masks for all patrons while in the Innovation Credit Union iPlex. Mask are a safe and effective measure at preventing the spread of Covid-19.

If you are not feeling well, stay at home- The Broncos kindly request that if you are showing any symptoms of Covid-19, that you stay at home and do not attend Broncos activities.

Wash your hands & sanitize frequently - The Broncos and the City of Swift Current will be providing hand sanitizer throughout the arena for your use. As well, well strongly encourage our patrons to thoroughly wash their hands when possible.

If any recommendations or polices change, we will deliver an update our fans as soon as possible. We sincerely appreciate the support of our fans in taking these measures seriously as we endeavour to return to play for our incredible fans at the Innovation Credit Union iPlex.
