REUNION, FL - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, beat the Salt Lake City Stars, 116-95, for its third consecutive win Thursday evening at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort. Westchester (6-4) is now 4-1 in its last five after dropping three straight.
Two-Way player, Jared Harper, posted his second straight 20-point game with a team-high 22 tonight on 81.8-percent (9-for-11), five assists and a pair of rebounds. Affiliate player, Myles Powell, scored 20 points on 50-percent in nearly 20 minutes which included a game-high three three-pointers made in a reserve role. New York Knicks assignment player, Ignas Brazdeikis, registered 18 points on 47.1-percent, hauled nine boards and dished four assists. Returning player, Simi Shittu, finished with a 10-point 11-rebound double-double for a team-high six on the season.
For the Stars (2-8), Mike Scott contributed a game-high 23 points on 57.1-percent off the bench. Josh Green also contributed greatly in a reserve capacity adding 16 points and a team-high four assists. Tyler Bey's nine rebounds led the foe.
Salt Lake City led for all of four minutes to start the game. The Knicks went up by as many as 24 points, which marks a season-high for the club.
Westchester has a back-to-back this weekend beginning Saturday, February 27 with a Raptors meeting at 3:00 PM ET.
