Last Week's Games:

(Wednesday, Dec. 2nd @ Alaska) Tate Maris was pressed into action as the Eagles emergency backup goaltender and he responded by turning aside 39 of the Aces 40 shots on the evening. Colin Bowman tallied the overtime game-winning goal, as Colorado knocked off Alaska 2-1 in OT.

(Friday, Dec. 4th @ Alaska) Colorado rallied from a 5-1 deficit in the 3rd period to draw the score to 5-4 late in regulation. With Eagles goalie Tate Maris pulled in favor of the extra attacker, Aces captain William Wrenn would bury an empty-netter to secure the 6-4 victory for Alaska.

(Saturday, Dec. 5th @ Alaska) The Eagles would grab the first two goals of the game and scored on two of their three powerplay chances in the contest, but Alaska would utilize a three-goal 2nd period to defeat the Eagles 4-3. Eagles captain Trent Daavettila collected a pair of goals in the loss.

11/30 - Delete forward Patrick D'Amico (traded to Atlanta for future considerations)

This Week:

(Wednesday, Dec. 9nth vs. Wichita, 7:05pm MST) The Eagles kick-off a three-game set against the Wichita Thunder on Wednesday. The Thunder swept the first two games of the season series winning 5-2 and 2-1 in back-to-back games at Intrust Bank Arena on October 30th and 31st .

(Friday, Dec. 11th vs. Wichita, 7:05pm MST) The Thunder enter the week led by forward Peter Sakaris who has posted 12 points in 17 games this season. Fellow forward Ian Lowe is tops on the team with five goals, while defenseman Dan Milan paces the team with 39 penalty minutes.

(Saturday, Dec. 12th vs. Wichita, 7:05pm MST) The Eagles and Thunder conclude their three-game set on Saturday at the Budweiser Events Center. Wichita has lost three straight games coming into this week's action and have a record of 2-7-0-1 in their last 10 games. Their struggles have been magnified this season on the road, where they are just 1-7 on the year.

Upcoming Promotions:

Wednesday, December 9th - Pepsi Family 4-Pack. Fans can receive four tickets to the game and $40 in concession vouchers for just $88 (Corner and End sections only). Friday, December 10th - Super Shuttle "Beanie Giveaway". The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Colorado Eagles beanie, courtesy of Super Shuttle. Also, watch for random giveaways of t-shirts and other great Eagles merchandise in the crowd throughout the night!

Saturday, December 12th - "Teddy Bear Toss" night & Eagles Calendar Giveaway. The Colorado Eagles, 107.9 The Bear and Pedersen Toyota present the annual "Teddy Bear Toss" night. Bring a new or gently-used teddy bear or stuffed animal to the game and after the Eagles score their first goal, throw them on the ice! The bears will then be collected and distributed to several local children's charities for the holidays. Also, arrive early, as the first 3,000 fans receive a 2016 Colorado Eagles calendar courtesy of 107.9 The Bear! In addition, make sure to bring the kids to Saturday's game, as Santa Claus will be attendance to say hello!
