Mallards Honor Academic Achievement on Disc Replay Report Card Night, Team with Genesis for Frozen 5

MOLINE, Ill. - The Quad City Mallards will team with Disc Replay to honor academic achievement on Disc Replay Report Card Night when the Mallards meet the Evansville IceMen Wednesday night, December 30 at 6:35 p.m. at the iWireless Center and will partner with Genesis Health System for the Pink in the Rink Frozen 5K preceding the Mallards' Sunday, January 17 game against the Kalamazoo Wings.

Students with an "A" or other exemplary grade on any report card from the 2015-16 school year are eligible to receive a free ticket to the December 30 game. Students or their parents can show report cards in order to receive a free ticket at the iWireless Center box office or at the Mallards' office at the iWireless Center. Fans can contact the Mallards at 309-277-1364 for more report card night information.

Registration is now open for the Pink in the Rink Frozen 5K, which will benefit the Genesis Health Services Foundation. Runners can register online at https://secure.getmeregistered.com/get_information.php?event_id=122893. The $45 entry fee includes a ticket to the Mallards' game- which faces off at 4:05 p.m.- on January 17, a long-sleeve t-shirt, a "goodie" bag and food and one beverage at a post-race/pre-game reception at the iWireless Center. The race will start at the iWireless Center and be run along the Mississippi River.

Single game tickets for all Mallards regular season home games- the December 30 and January 17 contests- are on sale now at the iWireless Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000. The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available for $10, $16, $20 and $28.
