Goaltender Iles Traded to Brampton

DULUTH, GEORGIA - The Atlanta Gladiators announced Monday that goaltender Andy Iles has been dealt to the Brampton Beast in exchange for future considerations.

Iles, 23, appeared in seven games for Atlanta this season after signing with the Gladiators back on October 14th. The Ithaca, NY native compiled a record of 3-2 with a goals-against average of 2.84 and .901 save percentage during his short tenure in Georgia. The 5-foot-9, 180-pound netminder completed his first full season of professional hockey last year as he competed in 29 games for the Alaska Aces and Florida Everblades of the ECHL. The product of Cornell University spent the majority of last season as a member of Florida where he collected 15 wins and a goals-against average of 2.98 in 23 appearances.

Iles will join the Beast right away as they are set to host the Manchester Monarchs on Wednesday, December 9th on home ice at the Powerade Centre in Brampton, ON. Atlanta's future considerations can be completed anytime between now and June 13th, 2016.
