RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers (7-7-3-0) will take on two Western Conference opponents this week starting with a trip to Kearney to faceoff with the Tri-City Storm (8-8-2-1) and a Saturday showdown with the Des Moines Buccaneers (9-6-1-2) at home.
The Lancers are fresh off of a winning weekend, sweeping the Muskegon Lumberjacks and gaining 4 points. Jakub Dobes picked up his 1st and 2nd wins of the season over the weekend.
The Lancers start the week early with a pre-Thanksgiving meeting in Kearney on Wednesday. The two teams have not hit the ice together since a weekend series in late October at Ralston Arena, where the Storm swept the Lancers in the series. This will be the second time this regular season the Lancers will travel to Kearney. The last time the Lancers were in Kearney they took down the Storm, 4-3 in a shootout on their home opener October 4th. Puck drop is set for 7:05 PM.
Saturday will be the first time the Lancers will take on the Buccaneers this regular season. These two Western Conference teams will only face off four times this season. Puck drop for Saturday is set for 7:05 PM at Ralston Arena. It is also Kids Night, Adults can purchase tickets at regular price and will receive a free kids ticket to the game.
