PENSACOLA, FLA- The Pensacola Ice Flyers play the Birmingham Bulls for the final two home games of the regular season.

Pensacola Ice Flyers Record: 30-15-6 (66 points)

Leading Scorer: Garrett Milan (56 points)

Leading Goaltender: Brian Billett (8-6-2, 2.74 GAA, .895 SV%)

The Ice Flyers lost in back-to-back games against the Evansville Thunderbolts in Evansville this past weekend. On Friday night, they lost 4-1, with Trever Hertz scoring the lone goal. He was assisted by Josh Cousineau. On Saturday, the Ice Flyers fell 3-1 to the Thunderbolts, with the lone goal coming on the power play from Ken Neil. Garrett Milan and Troy Vance both tallied assists. On Tuesday, the Ice Flyers lost to the Mississippi RiverKings in the rescheduled February 17 game 5-2. Jessyko Bernard scored an unassisted goal, and Charlie Adams, assisted by Garrett Milan, scored the second.

Birmingham Bulls Record: 22-25-5 (49 points)

Leading Scorer: Josh Harris (45 points)

Leading Goaltender: Charlie Millen (14-8-1, 3.45 GAA, .903 SV%)

This past weekend, the Bulls lost the Knoxville Ice Bears 6-3 on Friday night. Mike Davis, Josh Harris and Jacob Barker all scored for the Bulls, with two of the goals coming on the power play. Taylor Dickin, Evan Schultz, Jacob Barber, John Rey (2) and Brandon Fehd all tallied assists. On Saturday, Birmingham lost 6-2 to the Huntsville Havoc. Mike Davis and Alexander Taulien scored for the Bulls. They were assisted by Brandon Fehd, Graham Yeo and Taylor Dickin.

LOOKING FORWARD: The Ice Flyers will be on the road for the final weekend of regular season. First, the Ice Flyers will play against the Mayhem in Macon on Thursday, April 5 at 6:35 p.m. They will then travel to Knoxville to take on the Ice Bears in back-to-back games Friday, April 6 and Saturday, April 7 at 6:35 p.m.

The SPHL Challenge Round Show will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 8 at Buffalo Wild Wings. During the show, the top four teams in the league will select who they want to face off against in the first round of the 2018 SPHL Playoffs. The full team will be in attendance, and the show will be broadcast on Facebook Live. There will be multiple raffles and fun games going on during the show for the fans in attendance.
