Wednesday Night Showdown in Allen

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans play the Wichita Thunder tonight, for the third time in their last four games. Puck drop at Allen Event Center is 7:05 pm .

The two teams combined for 82 penalty minutes in the last game, and 140 total over the last two meetings.

Spencer Asuchak has goals in consecutive games for Allen, and his line with Garrett Clarke and Jesse Messier were the best line on the ice Monday night in the Americans 2-1 loss to Quad City.

Chad Costello leads the ECHL in points with 78. Costello scored two goals in the Americans 6-5 shootout win over Wichita on Sunday .

The Americans will have a few lineup changes this evening, with Patrik Valcak expected in tonight for Allen, as well as Tyler Barr, who will be officially signed later today. Ian Schultz was loaned to the Iowa Wild of the AHL on Tuesday .
