INDEPENDENCE, MO (February 18, 2015)- The Missouri Mavericks will host their annual "Pink in the Rink Night," sponsored by KC102, on Saturday, February 21st at Independence Events Center. The ECHL team will be wearing specialty breast cancer awareness jerseys during their matchup vs the Rapid City Rush, which will be auctioned off directly after the game, with proceeds benefitting Susan G. Komen of Greater Kansas City.

Fans in attendance will be able to bid on the game-worn jerseys in a live auction that will take place in sections 101 and 102 following the end of the game.

Prior to game night the Missouri Mavericks invite fans to recognize loved ones who have battled breast cancer by writing their names on a special poster which will be placed on display on the rink boards during the game Saturday.

The poster will be available to be signed on Friday, February 20th from 11am-5pm at the Team Store as well as at the Mavericks Promotions Table behind section 109 during the game on Friday.

The first 1,000 ladies in attendance to the game on Saturday will receive a Missouri Mavericks pink scarf, sponsored by our partners at Molly Maid and Bolero Salon & Spa.
